What kind of car will I travel in? The cheapest car you could use is a Tata Indica, a little hatchback which is good for two people. Many people like the more stately Ambassador, a classic design which will cost a little more. For groups of four or more, or if you're planning on heading up to the Himalayas, We reccommend a Innova or a Qualis. The Innova/Qualis can hold up to six people. For large groups we can provide you coach . You can, of course, ask for any of these cars no matter how many people are in your group or where you are going. We will always try to accommodate your requests.
Will my driver speak English? Yes. All our drivers are experienced in delivering high-quality tours to visitors from all over the world. Their first language is Hindi, so their English isn't fluent, but they will easily understand your requests and conversation about sights, hotels, family, work etc.
I got a quote from another company and it was much cheaper/more expensive than yours. Why? Well if they are cheaper it may be be economies of scale. However, before you agree to a cheaper tour with someone else, please check what they include in the price. You may find that state border taxes are not included, for example, or there's often a sneaky little thing called "service tax". Always check that your car has a Tourist Permit for the states you'll be visiting as well. Our tours are all in registered cars and taxes and charges are included in the price we give you. If they are more expensive, they may have more costs (staff etc), or their profit margins are higher than mine. You wouldn't notice any difference in quality of driving, cars, hotels, or service. Nothing is "cut" to save money on my tours.
Where do you travel from/to? We are based in Delhi, but that doesn't mean you have to start your tour there. We can provide you our services from any city in India as we have choosed best services providers within many cities of India .
What kind of hotels do you provide? If you book a package with hotels included,we will provide you a list of hotel we have used for our past guests with a good feedback , you can choose the hotels from that list as per your budget . All rooms are en-suite with hot water showers.
I want to book my own hotels! No problem. Email us for a car-only quote. We don't spam or hassle you.
I want to go to somewhere you've not mentioned! We have only listed the most popular trips on this site.If you know where you want to go, email us for a quote.
I've planned my own tour- is the itinerary realistic? You can get very good advice on your itinerary from people "in the know" by visiting some of the excellent forums out there on the Interweb. If you like you can send your program to us , we will advise you if it require any changes and can offer the best possible rates for your program. Travel in India, whether by road or rail, is likely to take much longer than in your home country. Make time for yourself. Time to think, time to acclimatize, time to really take in the sights you're seeing. Quality, not quantity!
What should I expect from a driver? Well, that depends on what you want. The driver main job is getting you safely from A to B, but he will be happy to give you bargaining tips, help you communicate with people you meet, take you shopping, jump out of the car and negotiate with the hard-nosed fruit seller on the street corner, and generally smooth your way. He can even teach you a little Hindi if you like. However, most of all, He work for you. It's your holiday: Driver will pick you up when you want, and take you to the sights you'd like to see.
What about the commission racket? You've probably heard a lot about tuk tuk and taxi drivers taking tourists to their "brother's shop". This does happen, and it's one reason why you should book with a reputable company. If you don't want to go shopping, our driver will not take you shopping it will totaly depands on you where you want to go and what you like to visit .
What about tipping? Although our drivers will never ask you to, it is considered normal and polite to tip the driver at the end of your tour. It's normal to tip 10% of the cost of the trip, more if you want.
